the WebCamp?
The WebCamp is a hybrid mix between an online course, individual coaching and a workshop.
We will meet online and in person with one goal in mind: to help you design & build your own self-made website!
Online, you can take the time to reflect and digest the information in the comfort of your home. You will be able to prepare at your own speed and rhythm.
When we meet offline for the co-working weekend we will remove all distractions and help you focus on the experience: the community, our professional guidance and your own creative flow.
We didn’t want to create yet another online course that will give you information and let you put everything in motion by yourself. We want to be there when the action happens and maximise the impact we can have on the outcome!
Our Goal
Making your own website is a long process, even with the modern tools that are available on the market nowadays.
It requires a big amount of commitment, motivation and perseverance.
We want to make this process fast, efficient and even enjoyable.

1. PrepCamp

We believe that with good preparation, your journey will be smoother, faster and easier.
In the PrepCamp you will:
Buy your domain name, find a hosting provider, install WordPress and secure your website
Gather your content, branding materials and visuals
Get to know WordPress (your CMS), DIVI (your visual Builder), HTML, CSS and JavaScript
Plan your site map, create a mockup for the look & feel of your website, design a homepage layout and draw a wireframe
2. WorkCamp
Done with the preps? Now, let’s move on to the fun part: the WorkCamp!
You can choose one of the available weekends for 2 full days with us and other motivated entrepreneurs.
In the course of the WorkCamp you will not only create your main page aka your homepage but we will introduce you to our core-concept: iteration
Iteration is a method of achieving a complex result by working step by step and choosing the steps small enough to fit your skillset
You will be learning by doing and by the end of the WorkCamp you will have all the tools and skills at your disposal to finish the rest of the website on your own
3. LaunchCamp
It’s time to take a deep breath, remember everything you learned and finish with a bang!
The LaunchCamp is exactly what it sounds like: the final steps to the launch of your website.
You will repeat what you've learned in the previous weeks and apply it to the rest of your website
We will guide you with checklists, follow ups and if you ever get stuck we will be available for you on Slack
After 2 weeks we will invite all the participants to a Zoom call to present the results and give you some final input on maintenance and SEO

The first day of the WorkCamp is all about creating fast and putting all the preparation to work. You learn to trust your vision and follow the process.
We will help you to work through the challenges of your design and to build the confidence for the next day.

WordPress is a very powerful low-cost community driven CMS (Content Management System) that gives you practically unlimited possibilities to create and customise your own website.
It is widely used for small, medium and big projects alike and is our CMS of choice to help you build your own website.
It offers a very easy access to the use of custom code in your web project. You have full control over the amount of energy you want to invest to make your website stand out.
Compared to other CMSs like SquareSpace or Wix that offer intuitive webdesign also, it has almost no limitations and comes with a very flexible and easy to understand development environment.
DIVI (Elegant Theme) is a WordPress theme that comes with an incredibly powerful visual builder. DIVI is designed to be easy to use and have a highly efficient workflow.

Do I have to know coding to participate in the WebCamp?
The WebCamp is designed for everybody that wants to create their own website. We will feed you all the information you need and you need no prior knowledge of web design or coding.
What skills do I need to create my own website?
The most important requirements to make your WebCamp a success are motivation and commitment. We will help you with everything else.
How much time does it take to create a website?
This depends very much on the complexity of what you have in mind. We believe that you can have a finished version of your website within 3 weeks.
Our approach is to always start with something simple and then add more details and complexity.
You should have all the skills you need after the WebCamp to continue improving and developing your website on your own. In case you need our help later on we are always only one email away!
Can I use other tools than WordPress + DIVI ?
Yes you can. Let us know in advance so we can prepare for the tools you want to use. The WebCamp will help you to make your process result oriented, efficient and successful no matter which technology you use to build the website.
When will I know the exact location of the WorkCamp?
The exact location is still to be confirmed – it will depend on the number of participants. We will announce it 1 week in advance by email.
I like your offer but don't have time for the WorkCamp .. ?

What can I use my 5h of 1:1 time for, if I bought a PLUS package?
The most common use of this time will be to provide technical support:
- fix bugs in your design
- add features or special effects that need an expert.
But there are other things we can do for you as well:
- Give you feedback and advice on how to further improve your design
- Develop new ideas
- Make strategies for SEO
- Test the responsiveness of your website

How should I get in touch with you in case I bought a PLUS package and want to use my 1:1 time?
If you have purchased WebCamp PLUS or WebCamp Online shop, you can send us an email (hello@coachngan.com) anytime you need our assistance. Ideally you can already specify your request in the email and we will get back to you ASAP. We will be tracking the time we spent on your project and will let you know how much of it is still left.
